2020 brought new challenges for Girl Talk and our community, with a global pandemic that devastated girls' confidence across the globe. 79% of middle and high school girls report that they feel more lonely or isolated than before the COVID-19 pandemic while 1 in 4 girls report that they are sad or depressed 4 or more days per week. We want to lead our girls beyond these statistics. These numbers are startling and Girl Talk strives to improve these statistics every day through our various resources and programs. Our team found new and innovative ways to ensure the next generation of female leaders is equipped and ready to tackle any barriers to their leadership potential.
